Made from 7/8″ thick New Zealand Radiata lumber Alliance boxes carefully crafted with consistent quality for effortless assembly. Kiln-dried to 12% moisture content in our special seasoning kilns Alliance boxes provide stability and great resistance to shrinking, twisting and warping. Higher strength New Zealand Radiata lumber is a lot more robust and offers longer lifespan.
Standard grade boxes contain tight knots which guarantee the integrity of the hive at an affordable price.
There is always clearance between the knot and the edge of the box, removing any risk of edge cracking or fallout, and knots are kept away from the middle of the handle to maintain the utmost strength.
These are high-performance/low-cost hives well suited for commercial operations.
